Unified by a passion for New York City and the people who live in it, Illumination Light Art Festival sets out to connect the community with an unforgettable experience. Their mission is to present large scale public free celebrations of light using installations and projection mapping in order to engage New York families and art lovers.
In May 2024, Joe’s Amazing Lights was 1 of 15 light artists featured. More than 12,000 visitors explored the Battery Park City park that also featured 4 DJs, 7 performances across 3 days of light magic.
NYC is the place to be! These larger-than-life letters are about 8 feet tall and about 20 feet long with 40+ lights. There are about 10 different patterns and effects to remind us that the city is always changing with new ideas, emotions, and energy but at the end of the day N Y C is always there. And if you look in the distance you will see our fearless Lady Liberty and Ellis Island.
