Since 6 years old, Joe was fascinated with holiday Christmas lights. He quickly found a passion for designing light installations that he created on his parents’ home. The displays consisted of as many as 65,000 lights synchronized to music genres from pop music to country to seasonal Christmas tunes. Joe has raised more than $150,000 by partnering with local and national charities including St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Guilford Food Bank, Guilford Animal Shelter, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Autism Society & The Epilepsy Foundation.

Joe has collaborated with various musical artists and production companies creating unique entertainment experiences. Credits include Art Bath, The Q, Laissez Faire, Mission Nightclub, Hearsay, Knockdowncenter, New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, Macy’s Santaland, Mckittrick Hotel & Insomniac, and Walt Disney World.

His projects have been recognized with newspapers, news & radio stations including New Haven Register, Connecticut Post, Shoreline Times and the Guilford Courier, News Channel 8, Fox 61 News, CNN & Good Morning America, Country 92.5FM, and WTIC 1080 News Talk Radio.

Joe received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Design Technology with an emphasis in theatrical lighting design at Emerson College. He also received a Masters from NYU Steinhardt in Performing Arts Administration in 2020.

Aside from his creative projects, Joe is an arts administrator currently located in New York City. He currently is the Director of Ticketing and Customer Relations at the Park Avenue Armory. Other notable experiences include NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, Walt Disney World, Second Stage Theatre, The Joyce Theater, Blue Man Group, Broadway Across America, Madison Square Garden, Cirque du Soleil, Celebrity Series of Boston and Situation Interactive.

Joe also enjoys music festivals, dark chocolate, disco balls, Chipotle, Monopoly and bowling.
